SOSIS

A.L.F SAUSAGE aka SOSIS Is a friendly female street dog that has been threatened to be removed from a local restaurant in Fethiye by the police.

According to authorities it is forbidden for the owners to have a dog in front of their own restaurant for hygiene reasons.

They gave the owners 2 days to get the dog removed - they have known me a few years and have met various DREAM dogs at my previous house. They didn’t want to put her in a shelter so they asked if I could take her on.

Their landlords will not let them keep a dog in their own home so they were running out of choices.

Her vaccination program has started and We are now searching for her forever home. Please email adopt@dreamdogs.org if you are interested in giving her a forever home… and a proper name 😅

The owner of the restaurant thought she looked like ALF the alien.life.form American comedy series. The owner’s daughter who arranged the rescue calls her SOSIS (sausage) which is the name of their restaurant.

It seems for now, her name is ALF SAUSAGE and I will be calling her SOSIS 😅
